How to Install
The original Sony PlayStation 2 Network Adapter was designed to work exclusively with IDE hard drives. Since IDE drives have been discontinued for many years and are becoming increasingly difficult to find, upgrading to SATA is the ideal solution. SATA hard drives and SSDs are faster, more reliable, widely available, and offer much larger storage capacities.
The BitFunx SATA Upgrade Board converts your original Sony IDE Network Adapter to support modern SATA storage, making it easier to expand your PS2 game library while reducing game loading times when used with compatible software.
